Your awesome Tagline

I’m hungry

You keep leaving and it’s getting old. You leave for parties like you’re still a teenager. You’re gone for weeks at a time for work and when you do see me it’s not often. I take off work for a day and you decide you want to go to a party instead of spending it with me. Cool. Good. No problem. I’ll just do the same to you because no matter what I do you don’t change.

Marine corps infantry change

So, i personally have a problem with this whole “women being allowed into the infantry” Thing going on in the marine corps. They are trying to show that women are equal to men, but i completely disagree, ESPECIALLY when it comes to our physical strength. Let me explain why. 1. Even though they are trying to prove they are equal, the amount of training and sets of PFT’s they are making women do to join infantry is owed than what the guys do. How is that equal again? 2. I’ve carried my fiancés ruck sack and it is heavy as FUCK, not to mention they have their camel backs which hold over a gallon of water in it, their boots, their gear which includes their weapon which isn’t light at all, and they do hikes in the mountains with them all the damn time. There are men passing out, suffering from heat exhaustion, falling and breaking limbs, so do you honestly believe that women could do any better? 3. Women have periods. And last time I checked, you don’t get birth control when you’re on your deployment. 4. If you’re in a firefight and the guy next to you gets hit, nobody else is around and you’ve got to get him out of harms way and get him somewhere you can dress his wound. This guy has over a hundred pounds of gear on, AND ontop of that, he was around 175 pounds! I’d personally LOVE to see you haul his ass around on your back, also carrying your gear making sure you don’t get shot. Last thing. You as a woman are a liability to others. If you get hurt, as men every one of them has some sort of focus on you, instead of the task at hand. They are ALL going to want to make sure you are safe. So don’t tell me women are equal to men, because we aren’t.

Rant over.

No, this is why women survive longer than men.

this hurt to look at

actually it’s true. in sociology we learn about the fact that men participate in more risky behavior to prove masculinity and this is a way the patriarchy hurts men and pat of the reason the life expectancy is longer for women

Jesus Christ, I wasn’t going to reblog this but then that last one was just so WHY WOULD YOU that I had to

You see her for the first time and she’ll walk right past you like you are a crack in the wall and she is a skyscraper with her head so high in the air and when you can’t sleep you’ll think about the way her eyes strayed into yours for a moment too long before breaking away and disappearing into the crowd of people.

She’ll look both ways before telling you she loves you under her breath and when she hugs you her eyes scan the empty room as if the walls had eyes and ears and mouths that could give you away.

When she’s curled up on your lap shaking with mismatched breaths you’ll wonder how someone who looked like she carried mountains on her shoulders could crumble so easily in your arms like the tornado in her mind finally hit her and knocked her off her feet.

In half-light she’ll run her fingers over your arms like she is reading words carved into your skin, binding them together into the perfect metaphor and you’ll hear it playback in your head at 4am when your head runs wild with thoughts of her.

You’ll find a safe haven on rooftops and abandoned rooms where she’ll set fire to your insides with hushed breaths between kisses planted perfectly on your lips and make you wonder how dangerous it is to play with wild flames while your body is made of paper.

You’ll stare God right in the eye and tell him that if loving her was a sin then you want no place in heaven with him because the way her lips fit perfectly on your neck is a type of paradise you’ll never forget.

The six stages of falling in love with her. // by rb (via rbcages)
